WHAT: Decatur, Georgia screening of American Blackout
WHEN: Saturday, October 11 2008 07:30 PM
TICKET PRICE: FREE, RSVP required below

To kick off the start of 2 months of events celebrating the 60th anniv of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, our films will be ones that focus on the articles in the declaration. Article 21:
Right to Participate in Government and in Free Elections is the focus of our first film: American Blackout

I hope we will have someone with Election Protection with us, altho they are very busy with training sessions for volunteers on election day. I urge you all to take Nov 4th off and attend one of these trainings so you can help defend the right to vote. If no one can attend the screening I will have info for you.

This, as always, is free and open to the public. Please invite your friends to come. And save the date: Oct 19th for a new film about elections: Uncounted.

Hope to see you Saturday night.
